Rubadub first opened its doors back in 1992, with an aim to provide electronic music to the people of the UK. Since then, it has come far throughout the years, winning 21st 'Best Record Store' of 2016 in the world.

 

As well as selling records, Rubadub is known for its top-quality range of music equipment and technology, great for budding DJs.

 

Staff can additionally help you out with guidance on electronic music. According to Redbull, many local DJs such as Denis Sulta, Ribeka, Ira and Boosterhooch have received their ‘musical education’ from the Rubadam team.

Mon - Sat: 10am - 6pm

Sun: 1pm - 5pm

The establishment have two online sites customers can switch from. The first, is the music technology site where sections include: electronic instruments, Eurorack, recording & playback, DJ & hifi and cables & accessories. Customers can find anything from drum machines, to DJ turntables to digital recorders.

 

As for the records site, sections include pre-orders, browse, and sale, with ‘Home’ providing recommended new releases. The browse section includes multiple genres with most stock in house, techno/electro, and electronic/experimental. However, other genres also include disco/edits, reggae, hip hop, and international sounds.

 

Although the store is closed, customers can purchase items online and subscribe to Rubadub’s newsletter, however, please note there may be delays in shipping.
