Deacon Blue’s latest album, ‘City of Love’ is out tomorrow on 6th March 2020.  The album includes singles ‘Hit me Where it Hurts’ and ‘City of Love’ and will be available to purchase on both CD and vinyl.

 

The Glasgow band first emerged on the pop-rock scene in 1985 and have been a well-loved part of Scottish music. Known for songs such as ‘Real Gone Kid’, ‘Dignity’ and ‘Fergus Sings the Blues’, they have released 9 studio albums throughout their career making City of Love their 10th.

 

The band consists of original members, Ricky Ross and Loraine McIntosh on vocals, Dougie Vipond on drums, and James Prime on keyboard/piano as well as Gregor Philp on guitar who joined in 2008 and Lewis Gordon on bass who joined in 2011.

 

Be sure to keep an eye out on Zoe Ball and This Morning where Deacon Blue will be appearing later on in the month and as Gregor Philp said “when it’s all happening.”
